Default Weapon of Fury

I'm using a build on my hero rit around [wiki]weapon of fury[/wiki] because in combination with two dragon slash warriors it's just INSANE dps. I'm only having a bit of trouble with fine-tuning the build. There's only so much you can do before energy starts to suck. In the end it boiled down to the following build:

Channeling: 12+1+1
Restoration: 9+1
Spawning Power: the rest

[skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill]
[skill]Essence Strike[/skill]
[skill]Weapon Of Fury[/skill]
[skill]Protective Was Kaolai[/skill]
[skill]Remove Hex[/skill] Needed here because I run hench monks, who lack hex removal.
[skill]Bloodsong[/skill]
[skill]Destruction[/skill]
[skill]Flesh of my flesh[/skill]

Unfortunately I'm not really good with rit builds, especially for heroes, so maybe people have some tips of their own?

The only use for spirits in that build appears to be triggering Essence Strike; you'd be better off replacing Destruction with a spirit that'll actually do something, like [skill=text]Life[/skill], and dropping Bloodsong.

Then you can toss in some spell like [skill=text]Mend Body and Soul[/skill], [skill=text]Soothing Memories[/skill], [skill=text]Spirit Light[/skill], or [skill=text]Spirit Transfer[/skill] into the free slot. Considering you're using WoF, [skill=text]Splinter Weapon[/skill] probably wouldn't be as good here.

For attributes, pump up Restoration Magic with points from Spawning Power. SP is practically useless here; if something wants the spirits to die, then the spirits are going to die.

Do dragon slashers really need more adrenaline? With FGJ! Dslash recharges itself anyway. I'm usually happier to just throw splinter or great dwarf weapon on them, and watch stuff blow up that way.

Not really. If I wanted space on my own build and wanted someone else to bring an elite to power me, I'd rather ask for Infuriating Heat's double adrenaline. With GWEN having both assassins and dervishes, the extra adrenaline for the enemy doesn't come up as much.

As a Dragon slash intensive user (what pve warrior is not?) I can say that it's not needed. On axe builds, it helps, with dragon slash its overkill. Splinter weapon is the way to go (disabled of course as heroes use it plain wrong). Go with offering of spirit then.

I am, I love axe, can't help it ^^. My heroes use d-slash because it's a nice straight forward build they can't mess up.

I see your point, after experimenting a bit the extra character slot of the rit just isn't worth it compared to the effect you get. Heroes suck at using more then 1 weapon spell anyway so I always get a bar that's based on WoF, but doesn't really do anything else. This hurts DPS more then a boosted warrior makes up for.

Though I must say that WoF + earth shaker is really, really hax . The hero just sucks at playing the bar though, rit heroes need the elite for energy or I can't take beauty like spirit rift, which is rather spammable and costs 10 energy.

I was going to say something along these lines, I couldn't possibly see a Hero using that bar properly.

And I agree with Dr. Strangelove, Great Dwarf Weapon is infinitely cooler to put on a Dragon-Slash warrior.

When I run a WoF eviscerate warrio here is my razah's bar:
[skill]Weapon of Fury[/skill][skill]Spirit Siphon[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Spirit Light[/skill][skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill][skill]Essence Strike[/skill]

He seems to be spamming spirit rift on recharge and running out of energy in seconds so I don't give it to him. spirit light is just there to release the pressure off the monk henchies.
The warrior get buffed by him but you could just take another warr and do more damage.

I tried it again last night but on a necro, instead of bloodsong I used spirit rift and I took protective was kaolai. This version CAN actually spam rift on recharge.

Channeling Magic: 12
Restoration magic: 9
rest into soul reaping with rune and headpiece.

[skill]weapon of fury[/skill]
[skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill]
[skill]Spirit Rift[/skill]
[skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill]
[skill]Protective was Kaolai[/skill] This skill is just....awesomeness, I've seen this guy tank terrorweb dryders
[skill]Soothing Memories[/skill] Good support for the rather weak henchie monks
[skill]Gaze of Contempt[/skill] Very useful utility skill
[skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]

Tested and hard-mode approved ^^. Me and Koss use an earth shaker build, it's just sexy to get off a KD lock on 5 monsters at once. Sometimes I use a para with hex breaker aria and song of purification instead to take care of conditions.

Quite sad actually that necro's are better ritualist then ritualists, but builds like these that haven't got the elite slot free for e-management need a work around .

One sucky thing, that stupid tard hero only uses WoF on physicals, so that includes rangers ><. It's not fair, I like rangers, they should fix the rit AI a little bit more imho.

It's useful for the times when FGJ is still recharging

Not to mention Rit Heroes are godly... g-o-d-l-y... with Weapon of Fury anyway, and it doesn't only benefit Warriors, but any physical damage class. Assassins can run slightly riskier builds, energy-wise, with Vampiric Daggers since Weapon of Fury also has the energy gain. The +Adrenaline is also useful for Paragons, and Dervishes and Rangers can benefit from it too, especially since Dervishes have the ability to hit multiple foes.

<3 Rit Heroes.

Absolutely, if they have the energy to maintain it that is. Do you happen to know if a ranger hits 5 foes with a barrage volley, he also gets 5 ene from WoF?
